ORDERING & RESTOCK INFO
When do you restock?
We typically restock every Saturday at noon (12pm) EST. We will be announcing restocks in advance on our Instagram account (@blushingbb_slimes) so be sure you're following our Instagram to make sure you don't miss out!
Are your slimes available for purchase on Amazon or in stores?
Our slimes are currently only sold on our online storefront at www.blushingbbslimes.com.
How do I contact you?
The fastest and best way to reach us is via email at email@example.com. You can also leave me a message in our Contact page here. We endeavor to respond within 1-5 business days.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept credit card payment through Shopify Payments, which include Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Diners Club. We also accept Shopify Pay. Unfortunately, we cannot accept mailed cash payments for security reasons.
SHIPPING, PROCESSING & FULFILLMENT
Where is my order? When will my order ship? How long will it take to get my order?
Since each item is 100% handmade, we require up to 5 business days to prepare your order for shipping. Orders go out every Thursday. Once the order ships, for domestic orders within the United States, it takes USPS 2-7 additional business days to deliver your order, the delivery time frame depending on the shipping service selected at checkout and the distance between our shipping center and your shipping address. For international destinations, USPS estimates a delivery time ranging between 7-21 business days. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with your USPS tracking number on or before the Thursday after we restock. As USPS possesses the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding your package, we highly advise contacting your local USPS as they will be able to provide the best assistance to your issue. Please have your tracking number ready for the USPS staff when you place your call.
Where do you ship? Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States (domestic), Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, and Monaco. Shipping to certain parts of the world is temporarily paused due to local regulations and customs procedures.
I paid for Priority/2-day shipping but my order didn't come in 2 days. What's the point of Priority shipping?
Since each slime is handmade, we require some time to make the orders before we can ship them out, so orders ship out every Thursday after each restock. More information on our shipping schedule is provided on our shipping page here. Priority
My shipment is international (outside of the United States). Do I have to pay any additional duties or taxes?
Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; we have no control over these charges, nor can we predict what they may be.The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination. Customs policies vary widely; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Failure to fulfill these charges will result in an unsuccessful delivery.
My USPS tracking information appears "Delivered" but I haven't received the package. Can you send me another package?
Sometimes USPS can mark packages as 'delivered' prematurely, so we would suggest checking your mailbox or any place you typically receive your mail, and check with your neighbors, within 1-3 days after delivery as your package may show up within a few days. Since our shipments are insured against loss, and packages are officially determined 'lost' if you do not receive it 20 days after the mailing date, please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll be able to file a claim for you for a full refund after 20 days. To be eligible for a refund, you will be required to submit a verification form to our insurance provider to confirm that you did not receive your package.
I incorrectly entered my shipping address -- can I change it?
Contact us immediately with the correct shipping address. If we have not shipped out your package, we will correct the address accordingly. Once shipping has begun, If an address is incorrect or incomplete, and your order gets shipped to the wrong address, we cannot refund your payment as the items have been shipped out. If the package is returned to us and you would like to have the package re-shipped, we will need to charge an additional shipping fee assessed by USPS to re-ship the order.
REFUNDS & ORDER ISSUES
My slime package arrived damaged/leaked -- what can I do?
Please contact us right away. Photographic proof showing damage (photo of damaged slime, bubble wrap, AND the mailer/box it came in) is required before an assessment may be made. You may be required to complete an online affidavit with our insurance provider to verify that your item(s) arrived damaged. For more information, please check our refund policy page here.
Can I return, exchange, or cancel my order?
Due to the handmade nature of the items, all sales are final. Returns and exchanges cannot be accepted -- please read product descriptions before purchase. Cancellation requests may be granted on a case-by-case basis -- if the cancellation request is made within 12 hours of purchase, and before we purchase a shipping label for your order. My daughter/son placed an order without my permission; I placed an order without my parent's permission. Can I get a refund?
When you place an order from our shop, you certify that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained your guardian's permission to complete the purchase. Thus, if you are under 18 years old, it is important that you receive permission from the payment cardholder and legal guardian before you complete a purchase. However, you may contact us via email requesting a cancellation within 12 hours of placing the order. If a request is made after 12 hours, we cannot guarantee a refund. If the package has already been shipped and you reject the shipment or attempt to return the package to sender, we will not be able to issue a refund.
What are the ingredients used in your slime?
Our products may contain borax powder; PVA glue; vegetable glycerin; plant-based food coloring; liquid watercolor; air-dry clay; skin-safe fragrance oil; oil carrier bases such as almond oil; instant snow (sodium polyacrylate polymer); styrofoam; skin-safe pigment powder; glitter. Do not use if you are or may be allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients listed. Stop using immediately if irritation occurs.
Do your slimes contain borax?
Yes. Currently, all our slimes contain diluted borax activator as it is the most reliable and stable slime activator in the market. Borax is classified as non-carcinogenic and a mild skin irritant, just as excessive use of baking soda would cause irritation. However, if you notice an allergic reaction or abnormality after touching slime, please refrain from any further contact with the slime. Can I eat slime?
No. Please do not ingest slime. Please do not ingest the borax included with your order. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from negligence or improper use of these items.
Why are your slimes so expensive?
Due to several constraints including capacity, supply shortages, and sustained inflation, we are unable to sustain low prices on our handmade products. Unlike larger shops or companies, we are a very small business operating with limited capacity, so we're unable to secure bulk pricing on several supplies; hence, our supply costs are markedly higher than other leaders in the slime market. Can I have free slime?
We cannot send out free slime; however, we often hold special promotions for free slimes with purchase, announced on our Instagram page (@blushingbb_slimes).
Is your website secure?
Yes, the website is secure and powered by Shopify. All pages that could contain your personal information are encrypted with Secure Socket Layer (SSL).
